  • Gridded data of daily mean relative humidity with 5 km horizontal resolution covering river basins of Germany and neighbouring countries from 1951 until 2006 provided by the hydrometeorology of Deutscher Wetterdienst. More details about the data set can be found in Frick et al. 2014, MetZ For data requests please send an e-mail to hydromet@dwd.de

  • Gridded data of daily data with 1 or 5 km horizontal resolution for covering river basins of Germany and neighbouring countries from 1951 until 2006 provided by the hydrometeorology of Deutscher Wetterdienst. The three data sets have the following status/version at the moment: precipitation: v.2.0 temperature: v1.01 relative humidity v1.01 For data requests please send an e-mail to hydromet@dwd.de

  • Past, present and future rainfall erosivity in central Europe calculated from convection-permitting climate simulations in COSMO-CLM using emission scenario RCP 8.5. A description of the dataset and methodology is given in the article "Past, present and future rainfall erosivity in central Europe based on convection-permitting climate simulations" by Magdalena Uber et al. (2024) in Hydrology and Earth System Sciences (https://doi.org/10.5194/hess-28-87-2024).

  • Gridded data of daily precipitation with 1 or 5 km horizontal resolution for covering river basins of Germany and neighbouring countries from 1951 until 2006 provided by the hydrometeorology of Deutscher Wetterdienst. More details about the data set can be found in Rauthe et al. 2013, MetZ, DOI:10.1127/0941-2948/2013/0436 For data requests please send an e-mail to hydromet@dwd.de

  • Objective weather types of Deutscher Wetterdienst derived from different Reanalysis and Global Climate Model simulations for the control run (1951-2000) and the projection period (2000-2100). On the one hand, the dataset is useful for evaluation of representative circulation statistics in Central Europe, on the other hand, for the analysis of future weather types due to climate change. Added temperature and precipitation data allow to study the weather type effectiveness for these important climate parameters.
